Photography

From ~6yrs old, I have been taking pictures. First from a bright red Halina 150. My father taught me to use view-finder camera, some sort of Braun Paxette, and from then on things escalated.

For a while, I became quite engrossed in Photography whilst studying at University in MEng Electronic Engineering (Probably to the detriment to my studies). 1st joining the Exeter Photographical Society in 2005 as a member, then Treasurer and finally, President. Being in the society provided access to a basic darkroom and made me appreciate the magic of Black and White, analog photography, despite being an early adopter of digital.

To this day, I much prefer analog over digital, and as such, most of the photos on this website are BnW or Colour images captured on film, many with long out of production emulsions (Kodak Portra 400NC, Kodak Kodachrome 64/200, Fuji Astia 100F, Fuji Neopan 400 😢).
Some like to attach various info to images such as f-stop, shutter-speed, lens, emulstion, etc, etc. I shall forego that tedium and let you guess, if you care.
